About Us
BECA represents building envelope specialists in the UK & Ireland. The current BECA members carry out a total of over £250M worth of building envelope projects each year and it is anticipated that the numbers of members will continue to grow.
Aims:- To establish and maintain high quality and best practice in the design and installation of building envelopes.
- To raise and maintain awareness of the envelope industry both within the construction industry and more generally, in terms both of the importance of the industry to the construction process and also in respect of the issues and challenges facing the industry.
- To represent the interests of the envelope industry to customers and suppliers and to establish and promote standard terms of trade that are fair and equitable.
- To encourage standardisation and high quality in the materials and services supplied to the industry.
- To standardise and promote training within the industry.
- To undertake other actions that will improve the industry for the benefit of clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
